Photographer’s Note

Located in the north face of the Yellow mountain range, Lindoso is a small place really near the Portugal/Spanish border (4 km).
The castle dates from something between 1220 and 1258, and its classified as a national monument.
Really near to this castle there are something like 50 "espigueiros" (small sheds made of stone and elevated from the ground for use as corn storage), from the XVIII and XIX century.
By the time i took this photo was raining quite a bit and i had to be under one of the "espigueiros" for rain cover, it was also alot of cold wind and was really dificult not to tremble the hands, and that resulted in the F5.6 aperture for hand-held picture.
I also have few shots of the espigueiros that i intend to post one of this days.
