Photographer’s Note
In Southeast Asian mythology, Kinnaris are depicted as half-bird, half-woman creatures. One of the many creatures that inhabit the mythical Himavanta. Kinnaris have the head, torso, and arms of a woman and the wings, tail and feet of a swan. She is renowned for her dance, song and poetry, and is a traditional symbol of feminine beauty, grace and accomplishment. This statue is in Wat Phra Kaew.
The Wat Phra Kaew (English Temple of the Emerald Buddha) is regarded as the most sacred Buddhist temple (wat) in Thailand. It is located in the historic center of Bangkok (district Phra Nakhon), within the grounds of the Grand Palace.

Superb beauty, superb smoothness in the gesture: I had seen it at the time of my passage to Wat Phra Kaeo but I did not make of it such a beautiful photograph

Hi Dan,
Hey, I think I was introduced to this local beauty some years ago. :-)
You achieved catching her unique grace and majesty. The POV is impeccable and the control of light is amazing (under that harsh sun, the only thing that is less than perfect is the OE on the top of the chedi). And with that deep blue sky, we can call it true "gold over blue".
TFS, Regards, José.
