Photographer’s Note
Pigeons have a very close relationship with mumbai. The old buildings in southern mumbai are mostly enveloped by them. There are also many kabootar-khanas, enclosures where pigeons feed on grain put in by the citizens.
I had gone there hoping to take a slow speed shot of pigeons taking off. But light was fading. So went for a silhouette instead.
