Those intimidating eyer probably reflect a strong spirit within. Maybe it has something to do with those rings (rings with specified gemstones are believed to have miraculous powers in India).
To be honest, I was a little unnerved. Sought permission, clicked, thanked and rushed...was gone is less than 60 seconds.

Interesting character and story. The expression is a bit weird and the detail in the top half of his face is somewhat lacking due to the hat. The hands almost look like someone elses. Not sure what to say - I don't think this one quite holds together for me, but it's a worthwhile shot anyway.

Great B&W Portret. His eyes are so sad :(
I wish u had used a smaller aperture. Some parts of his face are a little out of focus.
I think that a color shot of this portret would look beautifull. A contrast between the shiny and gold like rings and his dark skin
Here i captured his mate in that same day.I think they had a fight :)... just kidding

The compositin is very well balanced. The BW is working quite nicely here I feel, though curious as to how the color version would look like. Very well exposed too. What camera did you use Tariq?

I love colors ... and I love portraits that's why although B/W I can say this is a very good one: Fine DOF gliding from the unsharp hands right into his sharp staring eyes laying in the shade of his cap. With a colored photo the rings would maybe have pulled all the attention, so quite right to do it B/W.

A very unique pose - and quite unnerving in the powerful B&W. I'm adding this one to the Middle Earth theme, because of your title. I'm glad you took the minute for the photo though, I'd have never had the guts to stay that long near this man.

He does look very unique. He was probably more nervous of you than you of him. lol A great picture though, and I really like this one in b&w.
