Photographer’s Note
Well it´s true, i just can´t get enough of taking and posting pictures of the Penedo do Guincho in St. Cruz beach.
It´s a really fotogenic rock with its 30 mts height for 100 of circunference and a vaulted crack that is crossed by the sea in its base. It´s allways there and allways beautifull at any time of day and night.
When i was preparing the shot (held against the cliff trying to cath the biggest pov possible) a girl an its dog passed in front and leave the footprints you can see in the foreground, i think they are a good addition...

Hey Daniel!
A well taken sunset shot and an interesting rock (I, on the other hand, haven't seen your previous posting so I am glad you posted this one!)
;)
Your composition is well chosen, the two rocks balancing each other, and in the middle grounds there are the foot steps in the sand of the person and his/her dog connecting between the two stones...and in the BG, a lovely sunset, what can be classic than this one?? Good use of Grad filter to get a very long exposure to have the smearing of the clouds and the milky feeling of the sea...
Well done!

Hola Daniel,

Great shot! The amazing rock formations are what really make this eye catching, especially the one on the right with the hole in it. Great colour too. Well done!

Very good try, Daniel!
Though, the long exposition didn't reveal
any details in the rock, and the clouds are
way too blurred.
Yes, I agree that the footprints are a bonus
to add an interest to the FG, but you either
need to shorten the exposure or take a torch
with you to lighten dark object manually
during your lens being opened.
The other way would be revealing details in shadow
with a help of a photo-editor...
I'm sure you'll do better next time,
Robi

Excellent composition with each main rock at an intersecting point using the rule of thirds. The long exposure has vreated a nice mood with the movement in both the clouds and the sea.Well done Daniel.

Bom Trabalho
João
