Le village de Saint-Sixte est connu pour son étang.
Mais au sommet des collines, la vue est admirable.
Ce coin d'Isère est encore très sauvage.
Les églises et les calvaires y poussent à même les champs.
Le regard porte loin, et les pensées s'élèvent.

J'ai une pensée ce soir pour nos amis polonais qui ont perdu ce matin 26 compatriotes dans un accident de circulation près de Grenoble.

How interesting to choose a high point to install such structure. The view is very nice from up there and the twon downhill is a good point to focus the eyes on. Nice placement of the cross in such a prominent location. Thanks Bertrand.

Une très belle image avec cette ancienne croix au premier plan ! J'aime bien le fait qu'elle guide presque nos yeux vers l'église située en contre-bas !

Oui en effet, les croix à côté des routes c'est en général pas bon signe. J'espère que cela peut motiver autres automobilistes de rouler prudemment. Ici, c'est bien pris. L'objet est bien décentralisé ce qui nous donne une panorama profonde sur l'arrière-plan. Région très agréable. Mes pensées sont aussi avec ceux qui ont perdu la vie dans l'accident à Grenoble.

Very nice composition here with the cross anchored nicely in the lower right. The results are very sharp from near to far. I also see an interesting layer effect with the light yellow in the bottom, the greens in the middle and the blues in the top.

Une image a la composition simple, et comme toujours extremement soignee. Ce calvaire de pierre au premier plan se detache joliment sur son arriere plan bucolique. Les couleurs sont extremement fraiches et naturelles.
