Photographer’s Note
This is Red Square in Moscow. I took this picture less than a year ago, but many things have changed since then.
You can see the old building of a hotel 'Russia' in the background. By that time workers began to destroy this building (the other part, you can't see it from this point) Now there are just a few parts of it. So it's one of the lastest picture of this hotel.
Also I like the whole composition. White clouds,light blue sky, white building of GUM, gray stones of the square and a few colorfull spots of St. Basil Cathedral look very interesting.

Hello Olya,
A good photo to have taken, as you say, buildings get demolished, and we forget how it once was.
Like the cloud formation also.GUM is a little distant,we can still see the fine architecture of this famous shopping arcade.
