Photographer’s Note
Well, I could start making excuses for this picture, burned out sky, very dark middleground ect. But instead I'll just say, this is the same guy who posed on my "have you seen French movie Amelie?" except now he's travelled to the roof of my building, showing you all the view I see every morning (not as spectacular as Kaj "yesterday"'s ) The advaert is very old, and it's for a large Danish brewery Ceres, located about 500 m from where I live.
The brewery is from 1856 and is named after the Roman godess of seeds and fertility "Ceres".
Ceres makes good Danish beer and is actually the main imported beer in countries such as Italy.
More info on ceres on:
www.ceres.dk
Ps. the picture was taking with my brothers point and shot Olympus digicam.

Lol - well well - I heard a story some while ago - A couple had a garden-gnome one day he was gone!!! After a couple of weeks they begun getting photos from all over the world telling them he was doing fine ;-) after half a year he suddenly came back to the garden ;-))
Nice to see this garden-gnome still doing fine - thanks for sharing Line.
You also given my a idea of shooting old and new commercials on buildings around in Denmark - In fact I already posted one which only got two points :-( but perhaps it was my own fault - the note was too short.

I am glad to see this guy back! I really like they way you posed him near a building with a chiminey like that. It seems to mirror the point of his hat. Also the negative space between his hat and the edge of the building is great. Good example of Danish adverts and architechure at the same time.

I didn't get any news from my gnome since five weeks. So, I understand now. Can you ask him to tell me where he is going next ?

What a funny idea to send the gnome off on more travels. I wonder if Jeunet has seen him...
