Great portrait, with a very nice sense of play and mystery all at the same time. I like the close in view too, which shows just the eyes and the shawl, allowing us to concentrate on her with no distractions. Well done!

You have here a great portrait. Her eyes are something and you managed to captured them greatly using the shawl to frame her face. The shawl colour being much alike her skin and the bg makes it very smooth and atractive. Great lighting.

Elaine, this is a true winner and in my opinion one of your best!!!!

The tight crop, the earthern colours, the way her face is framed by the shawl and the look in those brown eyes makes this a stunning portrait.

Just tried to do a ws to sharpen her eyes.

those beautiful eyes! striking and powerful... And I like how she's covering half of the face, adding a bit of mysterious feeling. only downside, that's unavoidable I guess, was the lighting on the left which I find too harsh. Good work.

Hi Elaine, wahta terrific portrait and what aterrific light. The colors are so soft, just the same as her looks. Because she is hiding herself so much, it's almost impossible to guess her age, but looking at her brother, she must be a young girl. Beautiful eyes!

A good composition and a good exposure considering the skin tone and the highlights of the shawl. The workshop does it justice, but perhaps the best thing about the photo is the placement of the subjects left eye.....centered in the composition as it should be.

What a beautiful portrait. The way she is warpped with light is truely wondrful. The transparency in her eyes is fantastic. The overall tones are so soft and work so well together. You have a true winner here. Congratulations.

I only wish I can take a portrait like this. What a brilliant shot & I have to see Tina has, with her PP, enhanced the beauty more. The light you've got from the side is good, but the distant look on her eyes, made to glitter in the WS, makes me look at her long, very long. Haunting beauty!
