On the streets of Hanoi, one can only guess as to the life of this vegetable seller.

I don't know how you manage to do this time after time, Elain. But, here you have an almost too perfect composition with that trade mark mottled, subtle colour and light. Sometimes it looks more like a painting that a photograph. It also has the TE quality of being a great document of a way of life. Regards Kevin

Dear Elaine,
There's so much poetry in your shots. This too is so lovingly composed, very nicely laid out, with that amazingly placed vegetable basket by the feet of the lying man. All seems like a dream, like a tale. very poetic!
Good night from chilly Ottawa,

Elaine: again, some fine compositions from you. Everything is here in this well crafted still-life. Unusually uncluttered for a picture from Hanoi. Very nice indeed. regards, c

Hi Elaine,
I like this street scene and the colors, the man's t-shirt is the same color as the window shutter.
I like the vegetables also... He isn't scared than somebody could steal them.
Well balanced picture.
