This will - so far - be my last photo in my mini-series from my trip to Canada last year .
I spent a wonderful time with my pen-friend and her family !
One day her husband told me to put on a pair of rubber-boots . He wanted to show me some of the oil-wells on their property.
He told me about and showed me how " The black gold "
was pumped up day after day , year after year from the underground . He showed me the black sticky crude oil , and how some of it was processed on the spot.

This particular oil well is called " THE WELL FROM HELL" because the crude oil is so thick , it can only be pumped up when diluted by some gas-mixture !

I certainly spent a wonderful , worth while and
" different " sort of holiday there , and I cannot thank my pen-friend and her family enough !....
