Photographer’s Note
As you could see from my previous photo , I got into the desert mood again. Here is another shot from my desert series. I honestly hope that my trip to Mongolian desert Gobi will as successful (photography wise) as my Sahara trip in Morocco.
I've named this photo "Searching" and maybe I should have post it before I've posted this one, which I've called Different kind of date..
I have chosen this composition with the lonely camel in the bottom left corner that is nicely balanced by the two and later one palm tree bit further, finished with majestic sand dunes in background… I simply have to go back to this fabulous place..
Have a beautiful Sunday!
Lucie

Somehow Lucie, you managed to drag us into your fascinating world of deserts.
EVERY of your sandy miniatures is a gem on its own.
This one...I see two photos for the price of one...
That bottom, live part of the desert, and absolutly delightful - the upper part.
Pore nature's marvel of shades and shapes.
Killing stuff, gal.
THX
Have a sunny Sunday

Hi Lucie,
Sculptural... that's what comes to my mind when I see those dunes.
You took the picture at a perfect moment of the day so that we get smooth shadow effects.
Personaly I like it even without the camel. Some like it with life others not !
Nice sunday

Hi Lucie,
Very nice composition with warm orange colour and great depth of field. The shadows made the perspective looking really deep.
Anyway what's happened with an owner of the camel?

The light has emphasised the shapes of the dunes, and the play of light and shadow is wonderful, as are the warm colours.
An excellent composition too, with a spot-on placement of the camel.
What more can I say? Beautiful.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Lucie, your picture seems to be loaded with noise and I guess this comes from the high zooming in (210mm ?), however the composition and colors are so vibrant that it compensates this small detail.

Hi Lucie,
Great shot! Great POV. The colour and contrast are wonderful. The camel is adding depth to the shot. It could possibly have looked a little barren with it.
