Photographer’s Note
This is a view from the Museu Marítim Drassanes out on the Rambla. The Museu Drassanes is the old shypyard of Barce lona and is one of the very few mediaeval buildings left in town. Up to 30 ships could be build simultaniously at the time and now it is a museum showing the history of navigation. In the center of the image you can see the map of a lighthouse.
PP: I know, the image is overexposed, to correct it a little I lowered the brightness and increased the contrast.

Ciao Guenther, the picture doesn't look overexposed to me. Possibly your WS already took care of it. Taking pictures from a dark place out to iluminated places is always a challenge I think you managed it really good. Nice scenery, what is the glass in the middle? Is it a lighthouse light?

Bonjour Guenther,

Hi Günther - very difficult light, but it came out quite well, the idea is brilliant, the square geometry of the windows offset the framing arch, the PP work is the right choice in regards to brightness and contrast for this type of light.

Hi Guenther,
This is a very nice shot, and a most interesting composition. I like the framing, with the window. It is nice that the building behind is actually pretty nice to look at too. As for the lighthouse, I don't know if it is it's colors, or simply the reflections of the window behind it, but it looks very nice. I would only add that it would have been nice to see both boats completly on each side of the photo.
Well done.
Best Regards,
Louis

Hi Guenther.
Nice composition this one, only pity that the interior is subexposed, and the outside is overexposed, but the photo is quite nice.
So long.
