Continuing my series on local rural mailboxes. I like the classic design of these old mailboxes, simple, functional but such a nice shape. These old guys are disappearing, as are the farms they serve, swallowed up by subruban expansion. This mailbox belongs to Berrydown, which is the name of a farm that is a combination blueberry farm and dog kennel.

I used a polarizing filter to darken the blue of the sky and bring out the shape of the clouds.
