I decided to introduce to you another sister of the perpetual indulgence...
As a reminder from yesterday
The sisters of the perpetual indulgence are one of the early gay associations created at the beginning of the AIDS epidemy in the USA to fight AIDS and disseminate information on sexual behaviors and protection. They consist of convents all over the western world. They have become a "gay landmark" in the association world... this one wears a pin against homophobia and one AIDS ribbon .

To me this just looks scary. No offence but the makeup and clothing just doesn't fit this guy.
Photo quality is good, good focus on the person while the background is blurred out to make that little extra personal feeling to it all.

Un très beau portrait, ces soeurs sont photogéniques.
La lumière diffuse adouci les traits et évite des ombres disgracieuses. Bien vu d'avoir pu capter le regard.
Le bokeh du fond est très beau, et le cadrage me plaît bien. Je me demande ce que ça donnerait avec un cadrage qui intègre tout sa cornette.

Hi Eric,
I think you've done the right thing by not including all of the cornet, there's enough there to show what he's wearing. Personally, I'd still prefer a tighter, conventional vertical crop, showing more of the badges on his clothes than the blurry crowd, I still think there's too much crowd in this frame. I'd say, frame to just past the top of his head and try to include all of the fan which would also grab much of his hat from the side.

cadrage plein centre pour plus d'impact c'est çà ;) ?
un peu troublant ce maquillage des lèvres :) ... encore plus sur la vignette :)
je pense que t'aurais pu décentrer un peu avec légèrement plus d'espace sur la droite (tu aurais eu la descente de cornette ;) )
bon par contre un autre élément apparaît en bas à droite ... d'où le centrage ... hum ? :))

Another sister, now more of a flamenco sister, a great moment again Eric, though I think I still preferred yesterday's tighter composition and more gentle-looking model. ANyhow, still a great shot, very well seen with that passionate fan.

il faut bien avouer qu'il y a une constante dans tes photos : c'est la qualité et le piqué de tes portraits. C'est très beau et très agréable à regarder. J'aime beaucoup comment ce visage ressort sur ce fond. Bravo

very very colorful..very dramatic..in a way also very srange shot. A man whose appearance doesnt match the intended loo..or perhaps it does. In any event, the effect is really strong.
