Photographer’s Note
The buffoon is an entertainer out of the Middle Age and here in Sainte Ursanne, a lovely medieval city, he is not at all out of context. His bright colors account for his entertainer status and as you can see he's doing his best to steal the show, taking away people's attention from the actual event, the arrival of this marathon competitor you can see in the background.
Continuation of the Corsica series will follow, I first needed time to sleep and look with a selective approach at those masses of pixels.

Good title, he really does it. His textiles don't look medieval though. Good composition with the clown, runner and town gate. This time I agree about the DOF.

A very colourful portrait, Jean-Yves, one of a light and funny mood, the inclusion of this runner really makes a story out of the picture. I like the gesture of the entertainer, it seems he's showing to the runner the way to the finish... ;)

Quand je montre la lune, l'imbecile (le marathonnien ;o))regarde mon doigt...;o)....quelle scene amusante
BOn je comprends mon otite ;o) maintenant, j'espere que vous vous etes bien regalés !
Une photo bien coloree, qui manque un poil de pique sur le sujet mais la saturation est la et bien plaisante pour mes yeux.
Festoyons comme dirait le menestrel a la cour du roi ;o)

Le mec est bien cadré et coloré mais il manque un brin de netteté je crois.

Colorful buffoon entertaining your pixels here. It almost looks like is showing the marathon competitor in which direction he should run.

A rare people photo in your book, JY, I'm much more motivated to comment on this than on yet another scenic wonder :o) I think the guy's posture is well shown and he sure stands out well in his colorful jester costume versus the old-town surroundings. The runner at the left is a quite good add. If only it weren't for the guy in the middle with the shiny yellow jacket, but that wasn't your choice and you rather had to go for the posture and the moment. Nice shot.

This is a lovely colourful shot. Great focus and dof control. It seems to be a nice 'landscape' shot as well thanks to the textures and depth. Interesting inclusion of blue runner but I think the guy in bright yellow is somewhat distracting. Overall good attmept. TFS.
