Hi Christian.
Très jolies teintes rouges-oranges qui contraste avec ce noir de la nuit.
Les silhouettes devant la mongolfière au sol, puis ce cadrage, vraiment bien fait.
Bien joué pour l'exposition.

Great shot, and great technique to deal with the problems of shooting in low light. The colours are very good, and you've got a nice silhouette effect on the people as well.

A rather dark image, but the exposure is great and the flames and light they produce provide interesting tonal changes on the balloon structures.

Hello Christian,
What a great idea to shoot it like this one here. One balloon already loaded with hot air, the other one stil busy. I like the vertcal en horizontal view here, and lets not forget the different colours yellow and red, which are truly wonderful.

Hi Christian, You have well captured the right moment of raising the hot air balloon. The contrast of two different hot air balloon position well show the flying procedures. An excellent intensive moment to show the flame and the figures in contrast with the bright flame. A nice and sharp image. Well done.

The big inverted 'L' due to the fires is a realyl nice shape. The sihlouettes add extra spooky effects to this really beautiful setting. I'd love to travel in one of these! Very well managed exposure under difficult light conditions.

Hi Christian. I visite your gallery after reading your nice critique. This shot is marvellous. The strong contrast between the dark in the background and in the silhouettes is amazing. The shades of red are beautiful, and I found too interesting the angle between the two points of light, the flames. Thanks for share, because it's a beauty.

Your small technical trick with the spot metering worked out perfectly, Christian. Nice that you made it to the other side of the Nile so early in the morning. I remember seeing this balloons from the hotel and wondered what an amazing view that has to be. Did you also get into the air?
