The history of the region goes all the way back to the Chalolithic era (5000-3500 BC). Archeological investigations in the area have uncovered remains dating back to this period. Besides copper, the distinctive material of the Chalolithic age, items made of stone, flint and bone have also been found.
The Bithynians had a number of settlements on the slopes of Olympos (Uludağ) in antiquity. The foundations of the city of Prusa were laid by the Bithynian King Zipotes in the 3rd century BC and it was made the seat of administration during the reign of Prusias I between 230-180 BC. In the 12th century BC the Trallians a Phrygian tribe moved into the area. The Roman era begins here with the bequest of the kingdom to Rome by King Nikomedes IV upon his death. After the Roman empire was divided into two in 395 AD, it came under the rule of the Byzantines.

I almost get dizzy looking at this photo,my friend...it is so height!Amazing depth !Seems an autumnal decor, but I can see snow there!!

Hi Burak, An impressive perspective view leading by the cable. Nice view from the top. Good depth and nice contrast. The color is a little too soft. I think the image will be more attractive by increasing the contrast a little.

A vast scene here, with the landscape in the distance adding to the sheer scale of the scene. I like the soft colour of the trees in the foreground too. Nicely seen.

My eyes follow the electric threads and I come very depth, between the pine trees, maybe this picture not very sharp, but the composition is very well. Have to a very beautiful view above in the cabine!

Hi Burak, the composition here is great. I like how your eyes are directly leaded to the red... You could use some more contrast I think, but that's my personal taste. Lovely picture!

Hola Burak,
This sure makes my imagination fly away over these mountains to the winter season and think of all the fun that I have in the snow, which makes a strange contrast with the hot temperatures that we are having now. Beautiful simple image, nice sky and forest landscape. I'm flying now.....
