Photographer’s Note
Overheard at the Chicago Art Institute
Miss - please listen to my sad story.
You with the camera - what are those two women talking about?

Hi Peter, great decisive moment. The right statue looking at you really make this picture work. And your humourous comment!

Very funny! What really interested me is that the woman has white hair, same as the statues. The light that shines on them makes them luminous too.

Hi Peter
after your Seurat, I find this one excellent in composition, the statues are marvelous lined up to pull all the attention to the lady and indeed there seem to be a very intens contact between them, a very strong composed shot, a very natural enduced eyetravelling, and an explicit story, congratulations.

Hi,
I like a lot the way you have used the sculptures to create a form of dialogue with you/us.
Also the visitor seems to take part in the conversation .
Great idea and very good photo!
Regards,
Krysia
