Photographer’s Note
The Brooklyn Bridge was completed in 1883 and was, at the time, the longest suspension bridge in the world. It connects Brooklyn to Manhattan island and is still in service 126 years later. This picture, from the Brooklyn side shows the financial district at the end of Manhattan Island. At the left of the picture, on the horizon, is a small blip which is the statue of liberty at the entrance to New York harbor.

Hi Peter,
I like the composition and expanse in your image. So many parts of the island have been covered and with such beauty. The shade of the ship, the slight curve in the length of the bridge, the birds stationed on the ship and in the water. Well Done. Hadi

Hi Peter,
I like the way you captured this bridge span. Very nice. I also like the fact that you put this in black and white. Nice lighting Peter.

Hi Peter, I like your POV here, showing Manhattan under the bridge. You have just fitted the skyline on perfectly. And in BW it looks extra special. Well done, TFS

Hi Peter,
Love this picture. Brooklyn Bridge is a real landmark and your pov looking back to Manhattan works really well. I also think the b & w gives it an extra edge
Good Work

Hi there,
I really like this Brooklyn bridge picture- such a marvellous bridge and your shot reflects that grandeur nicely. Nice with the bridge in the top 3rd - and the b&w gives it all a timeless feel.
Regards,
dave.

Very good b&w, but I don't know about the platform's place in the photo. Maybe I would have avoided shooting it. The bridge and Manhattan look nice though.
Well done
Cheers
