Photographer’s Note
The sun was slowly setting at Dyrholey, so I took advantage of what light I had left. This study of light and shadow caught my eye and I shot many frames here and several panoramas. I can still sense the absolute silence of this place of mystery.

Whoa Michael.
What a place!! Beautiful indeed. Very calm and peaceful. With those darkening front effect and the distance lighted view, this is indeed a very fascinating rendering of mother's nature.

Magical shot! The light is great, bright on the highlights and yet you can see details in the shadows. Wonderful composition, with the water curving around in the foreground. Beautiful!

Amazing landscape post that you have here.
I went to look quickly on your gallery... well Iceland seems to be a paradise for photographers !!!
The composition of your picture is perfect with the refelction in the water, the clouds and the blue color of the water.

Hi Michael, This is a beautiful shot of the mystery land. With the ripple and water flow on the water, I am wondering where the water goes. A nice composition to show the beautiful landscape, the formation of the land, the snow on the peaks, and paint alike cloud. A very well taken picture. Well done.
