Photographer’s Note
The windmill here is quite young,-buildt
in 1969 to regulate the waterlevel in a
pond.So it is actually a pump and not a mill.
The type is a "Friese spinnekopwindmolen",-
a Friesland spider-windmill.

Hello, Hermmann !
Another nice shot of yours ! Sharp image in a very good low angle perspective. I think that most of the windmills are pumps, aren't they ? The amazing thing here is the date of buildind... I didn't know they still built these device in the recent decades.
I was in Holland last week and could make some interesting pictures of the windmills too. So far I've posted one. Have a look if you have the chance.
Best regards !

John.

A simple but well-made framing for this windmill behind the weeds, Hermann. Good low perspective resulting in a nice play with proportions and textures.

Hej Hermann,
Good picture of this nice mill, you shot it from a good POV. I also like the plants in front, it creates a nice little frame too. Well captured.

Hola Hermann.
Nice contrast the thicket as a frame in the foreground and the windmill in the back. Good perspective and POV. Good lighting and sharpness. Good DOF.
Very well done.

Hi Hermann
I like the graphism of the windmill blades against the lighter sky. Excellent lighting, sharpness, & color. Good work!

Hi Hermann, I like this beautiful contrast and well framed picture. Nice composition and well show the depth by using the frame in the front. It makes a feeling of walking with you together for the picture. I enjoy it.

I really like the play with scale here Hermann as your title suggests - I didn't realise windmills were still built (even if it is a pump) - very nicely framed!
The low perspective works exceptionally well.
best wishes Kev

Hi Hermann,
A well composed shot of this young windmill. I didn't realize that the mills had categories like "spider." Your framing with the foliage in the foreground is enhancing. The slice of distant field and trees give a good perspective. Great clarity of image here. Well captured.

It is always difficult, to me, to shoot through things ike grass and shrubbery, but this image works nicely. The windmill is in a strong position, and the foreground elements add interest and texture.

Hi Hermann,
I jumped this one and now my critique to this nice enquadrement of this beautiful windmill in the garden. Fine low angle giving dimension and proportion. Good light, colors and a fine sharpness. Good enquadrement of the elements and a good work.
Well see and well done. My congratulations and best regards.
