Photographer’s Note
I would like to postthe another shot for Po Rome Tower
Located some 15 kilometres south of Phan Rang-Tháp Chăm on a rocky promontary five kilometres west of Highway 1, this single tower is all that remains of three that were constructed here in the 16th century, and thus represents the final phase of Chăm architecture. It gets its name from the last independent king of Chàmpa, Pô Rô Mê (1627-1651), who died a prisoner of the Việt.
Under his reign, Porome maintained good relations with his neighboring countries such as Maladu (Malaysia), Java (Indonesia), Kur (Cambodia), Vietnam and India. His first-rank wife was Bia Thanh Chanh, Cham woman and daughter of king Muhtaha. She is now worshipped in the real sanctuary, south west of the main tower. Bia Thanh Chanh being sterile, king Porome got a second wife, Bia Thanh Chih of Ede origin With this second bed, the king got several daughters, and no son at all. With a view to fastening the Cham-Viet relations, Porome married a Vietnamese, Bia Ut, who was none other than princess Ngoc Khoa. Later on, princes Ngoc Khoa came back to her native country when king Porome died.

Hello Huy. First off the note is excellent. Too bad about the overcast sky as that's the only thing holding the shot back. Good job keeping the tower out of the middle of the shot. I especially like the person on the stairs. Nice shot Huy!

Hi Huy,
thats a very charming shot. Very nice presentation of architecture and nature and a nice fortunate use of the human ascending to the top. Very symbolic.

Good view up the steps to the tower. The person mounting the steps give the scale of this place.

Hi Huy,
I just love these temples, lost in the jungle and surrounded by trees. Great shot hear with the stairway that leads up to the towers and the presence of a person to give he scale. An impression of much solitudes comes from this photo.

Hi Huy, I like the composition of this picture. Nice contrast between the trees and the tower. Good to include the person in the picture to show the scale and highlight the steps leading to the tower. A nicely taken picture.
