I like the clouds and the overall composition, but I am having trouble with the sand. It seems indistinct and hard to focus on, and limits the sense of depth in the picture. Great clouds though! Rob.

Excellent shot of a beautiful beach-sea-sky composition, Jennifer. Very nice depth of field with lovely cloudy sky. Good sharpness and clarity. The people on the beach give it a special touch.

A delightful scene from the beach, Jennifer. The low position of the horizon is well chosen, the light is nicely accentuating the textured surface of the sand (as well as the dimension of the clouds), and of course the people are well included and essential to make the viewer connect to the photo. Lovely light and colors.

Superb lighting, contrast & tonal range, especially in the clouds. I like the horizontal layers. The people add scale & context. Well done!

Hi Jenny, beautiful sky and a beautiful beach. the people in the frame are a real nice addition, as they form a nice line in the picture. I like the mood, it gives th feeling of a winter day that is a bit chilly because of the wind

WOW! Those clouds are fabulous. The framing is great, using up most of the frame for the wonderful sky. The colours and detail are very good and the silhoettes are nice too. My family and I drove through Mordialloc last year in April.
You've captured a lovely beach scene.

This is where I used to go to the beach as a kid having driven (or taken the bus) all the way down Warrigal Road to get there. The last time I saw it was in July too. It was quite a warm winter. Anyway I really like the clouds and the contrasts between the sea and sand. Nice touch with the people walking along the beach.
