Funny photo whit this gigant foot. I like the cold colours here, the all match each other very well. The structure of the stone is very sharp and detailed. I think I prefer the version in the WS, but I like them both very much.

Both photos are beautiful, but I preffer the vertical one. Looking at vertical photo I can immagine better how big is the statue paragoned to the people. Also the religious ceremony is more recognisable and immediate. TFS

hi sandip
nice photograph...
i think because of the angle you've shot the photograph from, i prefer this version to the vertical one...
but pleaaaaaaaase go ahead with vertical photographs as well.. and not just because you saw some big photographer photographing in a vertical format..
it's always good to experiment..
and i think you'll only handicap yourself if you stick only to vertical photographs.... you'll start seeing through your frame in a whole new dimension and it also bring a lot of freshness to your existing work..
have you seen this photograph by RAGHUBIR SINGH (not raghu rai)
take care :)

Finally there it is, a most fine scene of puja so well composed and high quality with a lot of small details all very balanced, this is an outstanding capture Sandip, could you submit it to own photos for the TE Book ?
Thanks I enjoy to see this one finally here.
You made the right choice, this is the best compared to the WS.
Warm Greetings

Hi, sandip, I prefer your vertical one, the movement of pouring water is even more free and precisely understood in it, and the vertical exposes even more the giant figure as a background and recipient of their piety. thanks for giving us the choice to appreciate the scene shot differently.

this one is best for me. nice capture. the huge stone figure of Gomateswara indeed gives quite an oportunity of good photos.
something more nice here is the light, very soft, and hence the colors have come really good.

Hi Sandip - I think I like both your landscape and portrait versions for different reasons - the WS one because we can see a little more clearly what is going on and it is good to see the older person's face - the landscape for the overall composition - both very nice.
best wishes Kev

Beautiful shot, Sandip. It takes on a GRAND alure after you click it open. Here you are playing with a very limited color palette where the thin red lines of their clothes stand out against the general plae grey and white. Lovely composition. Dancing at the feet of the Lord! Cheers, Francis

Hi Sandip This is a nice shot of the religious acting. In comparing other two picture in your WS, I like the vertical one better, because a better view to the environment as well as the water dropping seeing in the picture. A well taken action shots, all three of them.

Hello,
Very nice photo of those two men, they seem to be father and son. The composition is nice too. I prefer the one you publish than the one in the work, I found the work too cropp.
Light is nice too.
Thank you

Hi, this is a really intriguing shot. It looks like they're washing the feet of the statue? This is a nice composition but I also like the vertical one; I often use vertical when photographing people and sometimes I wonder if I use vertical too much, but it's fun to do one scene both ways and compare. :) I think with this shot the horizontal cropping emphasizes the foot while the vertical cropping emphasizes the people.
Thanks for sharing!
