Hi Captain,
This post fits perfepctly to the very hot day we're "enjoying" today, I like here the small pieces of ice disseminated over the calm water, the reflection is nice and the light is splendid, itneresting to see how it throws yellow tones on the iceberg, where normally we see more blue.

Beatiful. Here the light and the colour are the most importants elements.
With that light everywhere must be wonderful.

Great shot. The light is fantastic and you have captured a crisp icy feel. I like the big chunk of ice in the foreground and the smaller bits drifting into the distance, it gives a great feeling of space.

Great one! I love the light in this photo, which makes this much more intersting than the very blue shots you normally see of ice. The composition is well balanced also, with the ice at the bottom balancing the iceberg in the upper left. Well done!

Plus de 40°C à Liège (BE) mais qu'il est bon de voir des images aussi refaichissantes. Comme quoi, tous les étés ne sont pas chauds.

A stunning capture, Tan. I have seen so many shots of ice and this part of the world where the glare on the ice or other areas of the scene ruins the photo or diminishes its beauty. You have perfect balance and light control here, with good contrast and reflections as an added bonus. The composition moreover is superb. This is a first class contribution to TE.

Its crazy that its so light at midnight! The downside is all the darkness in the winter though!

Hi Tan,
impressive cold seascape, with a good sharpness and "warm" light. The composition is also very well chosen.
I like to see the surface of this cold water, full of little pieces of ice and icebergs, they does not exist in my Mediterranean Sea. The white wall of the iceberg at the background, has reminded me one very famous picture of "Salvador Dali" named "The Great Masturbator - (1929)", look... the nose (as the reflection of the iceberg) , the eye (as the hole), the grasshopper (as the white horizontal little icebeg)... maybe Salvador Dali was there to be inspired to do it, who knows it?

I know that it must be seen with a great imagination, but... sometimes nature creates "original forms". What do you think?

That's a great shot, it recalls me when I've been to Illulissat at the age of 10 for a school trip. Unfortunately I have a very few memories of that journey, and your picture is so perfect it makes me want to go back there.

Great reflections, sharp, ice-cold water. Midnight! This is just great :) Very nice composition with the bigger ice berg and foreground. In the back, another distant ice berg. Very harmonic, nice note.
