Photographer’s Note
Day IX
The day had been long and I spent a lot of time resting at the main gate of Hue's citadel.
It was an interesting show to see the tourists (most of them were vietnamese) arriving on the site.
It was unexpected to discover some felines (called "guides" if I undestood well ;=]) waiting for their preys...

Bonsoir Stéphane,
It wasn't a busy day for those guides if I look at this picture, but they gave you a great oppertunity to capture them, well done! :-D

A very effective daily life and decisive moment shot, Stephane. What strikes me in this scene are two things: how each man is wearing different coloured clothes - even their sandals are all of a different colour; and secondly, the symmetry of how they are spaced apart so geometrically. Your note so describes their pose. Nonchalant yet expectant. I'm glad you posted this shot; it speaks to me. Regards. John

Hi Stéphane, This photo reminds me seeing flamingos...their relaxation position is to stand on one foot :D.
A nice capture and interesting scene. From the decoration of the wall they leaning on, it looks like a town with long cultural history. A nice capture and a fun picture.
