Photographer’s Note
One of my greater pleasures it is to cultivate flowers. Although I live in the city, I have the luck to have an big terrace that is like my garden. Here, you have one of the flowers that always surprise to me, it is a caeurulea passiflora, or flower of the passion and is looked much like an aquatic flower, but it is a plant which grown on walls or similar. It is used to make infusions, they calm the nerves, they relax the body, it diminishes the arterial pressure and the nervous pains, etc.... It is a surprising plant and I hope that you like.

Hi Marie Aude, superbe macro très réussie - je ne connaissais par la fleur de la passion (c'est une fleur splendide)- J'aime aussi beaucoup les fleurs (en Afrique nous ne sommes pas gatés car il y a très peu de variétés) et j'avais visité il y a une vingtaine d'année sur l'Ile de la Réunion une exposition d'orchidées (puisque la vanille est une orchidée) -
c'était extra

Oh ya...this flower actually looks good. Very fragile in a thick way. Well-captured here. Like your framing as it extends so boldly on all corners.

Well this is one of the most unique plants I have ever seen. It can be found in our province too...but in the Nursery. I am not sure in houw many countires this Passion Flower can be found. But I agree it originates from India. It sure does have a very strange center piece to it. I also grow flowers in my back yard. If you send me your email address I can send you some direct. Son nom a été donné par les Jésuites espagnols, car la morphologie de la fleur, rappelait les instruments de la Passion du Christ: coronule et filaments correspondant à la couronne d'épines, les étamines aux 5 plaies du Christ, le pistil à la croix, les stigmates aux trois clous et les bractées à la Trinité !
Tout un symbole !

Very good shot. I love this flower! And you take a well done phone of it. Good colours. Perhaps, it is a little bit too cutted on the bottom part, but the composition in anyway great. I like it a lot.
