Goedemiddag Hermann,
Mooi werk Hermann.
Groeten,
John.

You sure had a special effect here Hermann from the choosen place of shooting. Still I like this distorted presentation of the castle. I think the inclusion of the lion in the foreground is essential for the total impression. Interesting work.

a nice image of the entrance of this beautiful castle.
Why the choice of Reala instead of provia or Velvia, really my favorite.
I love the EOS 1, if they could comme up with the exact same body, and 10 millions pixels, but not as big as the EOSd markII, I would really be grateful to Canon..
have a nice WE

Hi Hermann, An excellent angle in taking this picture. The sculpture on the side marks the noble history of this architecture. Good DOF to include the distance as well as the near subject to have very nice clarity. A well composed well taken photo.

I like the wide view on this castle. It is very detailed and you had a nice blue sky.

Good idea to keep the wide-angle effect for this one, Hermann - it certainly adds interest to this view. Also a good framing with the stone heraldic symbol in the foreground right, and a well-contrasted presentation yielding many details of the old brickwork. Well done, schönes Wochenende.

Great shot here, I like the angle and the lion is quite a centre piece, a very good guard if it was real, well shot

Extraordinairy POV to make it more impressive, the converging lines could be maybe slightly corrected.
Sharp upto all details and perfect coloring.
Fine job.

Excellent angle showing very well this face from the building; It is also well buit with the Lyon's position and the other side the well designed barreer.
Good quality

Hi Hermann, fine wide angle shot of this castle. I like the barrel distortion a lot here - it adds a fine dramatism to the scene. It's lovely to study the richness of archirectural details here. Very fine job.
Have a nice weekend too! Bert.

Fantastic lens distortion! I really like these dramatic effects. Excellent placement of the lion in the frame. This one in BW and high contrasts would work very well too, especially with someone near that big door.

Wow, huge in this way from the low PoV, with a very strong perspective distortion. No doubt your focal length was 17 mm.
I hope you enjoy your weekend.
