Photographer’s Note
Two Brothers .. Imtiaz and Hamid..i just met them 3 hours back.. I was coming to Office.. they both were playing infront of their house. Yes, this blue wall is one of their house wall .. made by polythene sheets..
they are poor.. but not unhappy because of that..
I asked them in which standard they study ? they were surprised.. They dont go to school they help their father in making bulidings..
I am really feeling for them at this moment.. Can't we do something for them??

A sweet and a inquiring one with intim reduced colors from behind an enormous big and bright blue . Fine that you too know that people and their expressions goes beyond compositions with their soul.

This is really nice. The composition is just excellent and it goes beyond the simple portrait type of shot (perhaps because of the blue wall that covers most of the frame). Also, nice of you to catch one head above the other...makes the shot even more dynamic. Good work!

this is a nice one
more than the blur i like the contrast of the eyes here
while the kid at the back has pretty much relaxed eyes.. the one n the foreground has that look in his which is more or less implying "what the hell are you doing ?"
i don't know how you can personally help them..but there are lots of ngos through which you can sponsor kids for their education etc.

very good composition Sandip, in the tumbnail I thought it was one of Claude's ;0) I guess he's an influence on a lot of us. I like the color a lot and the looks on the boys faces : one looks suspicious, the other one looks sweet.

Have you see a movie called "The year we lived dangerously"? In this film there´s a character how ask himself all the time "What we have to do?" concerning poverty... I think the problem is that for a big part of populations (those that aren´t poors) they find boring to talk about this people... Nice one, sandip, I rather prefer this one than the B&W, not only is sharper, also their expression is much more expresive here. Congratulations.

Very nice photo. Those kids look very cute. I like their shiny eyes and the way they are composed, but I think I would have cropped a bit more of the left, I know... that's quite personal. But the quality of the photo is very good (and that is not personal, but just a fact).

good one sandip, I equally like this and the b/w one that I saw earlier than this.. at that time I hadn't read about their story ... well see if you can buy them very elementary books.. something they would enjoy looking into.. color ful with pictures. maybe you can share your camera with them for a few moments and make them happy for few moments. they'll love it and overall it might help them generate their interest towards things they haven't seen yet.
