Hi Hermann, This photo has detailed depicted the old castle. You have used a very nice POV to capture the main character of the castle. It looks like a well maintained castle. It is still in a good shape after so many years. A light snow under the shadow has shown the winter weather there.

ik zal hier eens wat critiek spuien.
De positie vanwaar U deze foto maakt is zeker niet slecht. Wel het uitvoeren vind ik hier minder. Zo had ik persoonlijk de poort geheel op de compositie gezet en had van dat punt verder gegaan met de compositie. Dat vind ik jammer, want deze foto verdient veel beter. Verder zeker niet slecht, maar denk van te voren over een compositie.

Getting closer to the main entrance of the palace, Hermann. Good usage of the light as it accentuates the architectural details of the impressive edifice, and nice to have the two pedestrians included in the scene. I would have hoped that at 17mm it was possible to completely fit the portal at the right into your frame; I think it would improve the overall composition. Still a nice one.

Herr Hermann, ik weet het wil niet altijd zijn zoals men het wil, ik had de poot inderdaad ook volledig meegenomen, en zeker het gebouw rechtgezet, het gebouw als archictecture vind ik wel zeer goed, het smeed werk op de voorgrond eveneens, dergelijke type van trappen toren vid geweldig.
Kleine wijzigingen, grote foto!

The weather was certainly nicer in this one hermann, even though it was taken in february.. nice choice to have the central door straigh so we don't notice too much the other lines of the castle on the right or left.. It looks very nice..

Oh - Anholt also the name of a Danish island - thanks for the view of this interesting old castle - I like the bridge-gate and the presense of people.
