Photographer's Note

The less toured area in Edinburgh, this picture was taken from the corner of Melville st. and Queensferry st. on our morning stride to Dean-Village.
There is an eyes illusion on this picture, as the distance from the point we stood to the imposing Saint-Marys Cathedral on the far end is no-less than 400m and the statue in front is on Walker st. corner some 240m distance, but those looking as in close proximity - that’s to say how big the cathedral edifice is.

See it on the map from 55.9511, -3.2108 .

Technicals: A JPEG picture, F9.0, exp.1/200, ISO320.
