Photographer’s Note
The Desert View Watchtower is a replication of ancestral Puebloan architecture designed by Mary Colter. The tower is located on the south rim of the Grand Canyon and offers magnificent scenery, as does so much of the canyon. The winding Colorado river is noticable in the bottom left third of the frame.
This photo was take approximately 30 minutes prior to sunset.
