This is the little dutch village of Broekhuizen lying on the river Maas in the state of Limburg.Almost every little village here has it´s own ferry crossing the river Maas.

The right edge of the shot is a bit dark but on the whole it is a very good composed picture. I kwnow this one, I passed there several times with the boat.

It must be a nice village,Hermann,a good view you show us,with a fine depth and real colors,I like the trees(strange)beside the wall of that building,and also nice the other tree in right side of the composition,well composed and I like it,Thanks,Hermann.

goede compositie, waar nog wel wat aan is te verbeteren door cropping, maar ik vind de diepte in de foto heel mooi, goede kleuren ook. goed werk

Altijd plezierig om een taalgenoot aan te spreken, heel wat makkelijker om vol bewondering naar je erg goede natuurlijke kleuren te kijken, net of je er zelf naar staat te kijken, de camera vergetend en dat is hier zo juist en heerlijk om zien, Hermann.

Goedeavond Hermann,
Dit zijn plaatsen dat ik koesterd gewoon om zo van te genieten door "Het Veerhuis" te zizn maar er naast ook de Maas en reeds in de verte een wachtende auto, het zijn mooie hollandse plaatje waar ik echt van hou.

Goedemiddag Hermann! This is a very nice view of the Veerhuis and the ferry. I love all these little ferries! I like the colours and sharpness here. The depth is very good and maybe a little cropping would even make it better. Good work!

Superb sharpness, good colour, & excellent pov. I also like the soft, diffuse lighting (at least compared to tropical countries), & the graphism of the tree. A good daily life shot from this part of Holland. Well done!

Oh - This reminds of a similar ferry over the canal of Odense. I like the sight of the vessel - even small - thanks Hermann - nice job.
