A very dreamy morning shot, Sandip. The colors and the fog create a wonderful atmosphere. The position of the man is excellent, I wish that you wouldn't have crop his toe. Beautiful.

i love the way the golden rays of the sun are breaking through the fog in the distance
i just think you're a little unlucky not to have something in the middle there.. not that it's really empty but , i think a house in the middle on the left, would nicely take us form the man to the house and then to the tree on the right
maybe the next time....

A very nice and moody shot Sandip. The light, the mist and also the reflections in the water contribute to this. Maybe I wished for a little more space under the mans feets but over all a good composition.

Hi Sandip, This is a very nice shot. It likes an impressionist painting in the fog. I am a little surprised to see the clear image of the person considering you took the shot on a moving train.

Very nice and foggy morning image that reminds one of Abanindranath's water color of his early youth. Nice sunrise mood.

But the 'village' in the distance unfortunately displays the ever-growing chimneys of a brick kiln that has been described in these pages as 'hell on earth'. Without intending to parody Tagore, all such red-dusted roads seem these days to end up in more prosaic places...

Very nice composition and excellent gradiant in the mist that's perfect here and for the dominating color here I like the greens , maybe the sky could have some differant colortone although this one is already in good harmonie, I will try a WS in search for natural colors.

This is a very beautiful shot. The person on the right adds the final touch, the distant trees in the fog and the framing make this a great landscape!

Hi Sandip, this is a lovely moody shot, the cherry on the cake of course is the man in the picture. Often I like landscapes without any human, but in this moody shot, it's excellent. The composition this way is very nice, that's why I like this one better than 'crosswords', the horizon is placed much better here.

Because the feeling of the fog in the morning is beautifully expressed in the gradation,
I think that it is a beautiful color photograph.
It seems that it shuts overall in the point because there is a person in the right.

I love RabindraNath Tagore's poems. Hes one of my favourite poets in literature. He has magical words that guy..

This is a beautiful picture Sandip, i dont know how i missed this one, sorry for that..I think its your best so far imho.. Its such a great mood, wonderful early morning light, and a great scene..Really, reminds me Tagore in every meaning..

I haven't seen this one before my friend - wonderful light - and you're right there are great similarities with my morning river shot.

I was arranging a residency with someone for students to come to work with us from Shantiniketan some years ago but for some reason the links in the chain broke and it didn't happen. We did make a website about Tagore and Nazrul with a Bangladeshi youth and cultural organisation in the UK (Leicester) a year or two ago - here's the link.
