Photographer’s Note
This is a so called "Zeesenboot", this boats were formerly fishing boats and especially built for shallow water. Today this boats are mostly used for touristic excursion or just for fun. This boats are famous for its red sails, similar to the irish hooker.

Hallo Hartmut. Boote üben - wie es scheint - eine magnatische Anziehungskraft auf Photographen aus. Und tatsächlich ist meist das Drumherum sehenswert. Boote sind natürlich auch der Inbegriff für Freiheit, Urlaub, Vergnügen usw. Auf Deinem Photo paßt alles sehr schön zusammen. Und auch das schöne Licht suggeriert noch sommerliche Zeiten. Hi Hartmut,
matine theme is one of my passions thats why cannot pass by your photo. Excellent composition, reflecting marine mood and charm. This *guy* had very full and exciting life and now having all benefits of retirement time.
Yes, I visited Germany and Austria this summer and had a very good time and many photographs. More of them will be posted here.

This is another gift for me: I love those old boats! Their lines are so elegant and the clinker built hull is so nice with its warm colour. I like how you framed it showing at the same time the lovely surrounding. The wonderful afternoon light make everything shine.
