Photographer’s Note
Sankui in the deep south of Zhejiang is a good base for trips to the wonderful bridges of Taishun county...unless you're stuck in a typhoon!
This picture was taken during the Morakot typhoon, which caused such catastrophic damage in Taiwan before it reached mainland China.
During a four day span, this typhoon produced up to 1,240 mm (49 in) of rain in Zhejiang province, the highest total in nearly 60 years in the province.
We got wet.

What struck me...
The juxtaposition of colour..blue and red in the FG with the same colours in the BG..:))
This is perfect for training the eye..oh yeah i am helping myself !!
Tropical typhoons are never seen in asian subcontinent..never heard it in the news over the last thirty years at least...
Wet makes subtle compositions..loved to see them..
cheers

Hi Benny,
What a fantastic moment this is. So casual, but so real the moment. It is pouring down but the rain didn't get these people spirit down. That's what I love about it. Quality of the photo is not the best due to the rain and low light, but the spirit and the gentle smile and way the people carring on with their life, perfect. Can't ask for more. Only one comment so far? I don't get people sometimes. This moves me.
