Photographer’s Note
Some people from a Bedouin trib in Jordan, travelling from the top of Petra to the entrance of the city, in order to change their gas bottle. Petra is not only a wonderful historical place, it is also a place where Bedouins are still living (or at least very close to it) and it is desert. Beautiful, a wonderful inspiration for contemplation, but not an esay going life.

Bonjour Géraldine,
Une très belle photo de ces bédouins soumis à la vie rude du désert, arpentant à dos de bête souvent les mêmes chemins rocailleux pour assurer leur quotidien.
En suivant ces deux hommes, notre regard plonge littéralement dans cet étroit défilé bordé de rochers escarpés, s'ouvrant sur un désert sec et montagneux. Le deuxième personnage se fondrait presque dans le paysage s'il ne transportait cette bouteille de gaz verte qui détourne le regard, et par son incongruité, joue ici le rôle d'élément perturbateur. Une scène, en tout cas, très pittoresque qui rappelle, à la limite, des images du film d'Ali Baba et les 40 voleurs !
