Photographer’s Note
Ben Vautier, also known simply as Ben, is a French artist.
He lives and works in Nice, where he ran a record shop when he was young. He discovered Yves Klein and the Nouveau Réalisme in the 1950s, but he became quickly interested in the French dada artist Marcel Duchamp, the music of John Cage and joined the Fluxus artistic movement in the 1960s.
He is also active in Mail-Art and is mostly known for his text-based paintings; an example of the latter is his work "L'art est inutile. Rentrez chez vous" (Art is Useless, Go Home).

I like your shot, I find it original and very well done: I like the foreground in red and black, which contrasts with the background in white. Very good, clever!

i always love the composition at exhibitions and museums.. and here the right side is very eye-catching with the red, and the other side is softer and with the model it has a dynamism there.. and they look in a nice harmony together..

I like the contrast between cool tones on the left and warm tones on the right. Nice that her scarf matches the red tones! Maybe it's not as imaginative as the best I see in your fine portfolio, but it has a beautiful look. Regards, Ken.

Ah quand Vanessa parlait d'occuper un marmot je savais pas qu'il s'agissait de toi ;-)
Je vois qu'en te collant devant l'ordinateur avec un sac de riz elle a reussi a avoir la paix pour s'occuper de Neelam, une image bien divisee ou j'apprecie fort le rouge, une couleur qui fait l'image a elle seule, elle ressemble un peu a Miss Chocolat la miss tu trouves pas ?

Bonjour, Luan. Une photo avec des contrastes forts, le rouge et le noir de l'avant-plan s'opposant nettement aux couleurs claires du mur. Bonne répartition des centres d'intérêt dans l'image.

Salut Luan,
Je me demande si tu as pris cette photo au Musée d'art moderne de Nice ou dans la maison de Ben. Je ne sais pas où se trouve cette dernière et j'aimerais bien la voir en août prochain.
Sinon, très belle composition avec le décor et la scène vivante du passage du visiteur.
