Bonjour Chris
Un joli cliché net et coloré d'une bonne profondeur d'une ville située au bout du monde pour nous autres européens.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
The strong diagonal works well in the composition!
Fine details in the seafront architecture, I guess they will have quite a view from the upper floors...
A fine composition with a 3-D feeling!

Olá Chris, that's a funny name...Splendid POV and perspective over the shore. The buildings are not as pretty as they could be but the green stripe saves the view and the whole combination works well for a beautiful picture. Love the diagonal with people walking and running at right corner.

Bonjour, cher Chris,

Hello Chris,
A nicely balanced composition of this sinuous shoreline. The point of view is well chosen to draw the eyes down the promenade to the distant hills. Good natural colours and excellent sharpness throughout.

Bonjour Chris,
tu as su donner beaucoup de profondeur à ta photo en choisissant un point de prise de vue privilégié. Il nous place dans le prolongement des plages.
Une photo 'calme'.
Regards.
Daniel.

This is a familiar scene for me, as I live and work nearby to where this was taken. Nice use of the shoreline to lead us into the frame and toward the mountains in the distance. Looks like you had a good trip, and I hope you enjoyed it!

Hello Chris!
Vancouver is one of the Canadian cities I'd love to visit! My parents were supposed to immigrate to Canada back in the 60's, but it didn't work for many reasons! Since my childhood, I know this story and I was always pretty interested in the Country! No visits so far! Plans for 2010! With such pictures, I get eager and eager! Pretty pleasant city view, with soft light and colors! I like the texture of the water surface! The view of the park is really inviting! I really like it all!
TFS - Congratulations!
Warmest regards,
Neyvan

Another good use of a high POV; this time in a different continent. Powerful use of the parallel elements of the shoreline to lead the eye into the frame.

Bonsoir,

Hello Chris,
A view of the False Creek Ferry Terminal & Vancouver skyline, therefor you chose a very nice angle.
Perspective and depth care for an attractive photograph
What I really like here is a well composed picture with saturated and contrasting between skyscrapers and the sea, excellent clarity and sharpness.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Salut Chris
An interesting view with the buildings facing the sea separated by the green park. The shooting angle is well chosen to maximise the depth. i like to see the mountains fading in the mist.

Hi Chris,
The point of view takes our eyes toward the highrise buildings and toward the mountains in the background. It is also allowing us to see the details and colors of the architecture of the buildings. The different diagonal lines are assets to the composition. The cloudy sky is filtering the light which is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
