Photographer's Note
I WORKED A LOT ON THIS IMAGE, SOMEHOW I STILL DON'T LIKE IT. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO IMPROVE? WHEN YOU HAVE SOME, OR A GOOD WORKSHOP, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE.
This is the view of Tarrafal de Monte Trigo, seen from the south. On the right there is a small beach, called Baia do Tarrafal, consisting out of black sand and pebbles. You will cross this beach if you come by pick up, because there is no other way.
About Tarrafal: 800 inhabitants, located at a water spring from the surrounding mountains, connected to the city of Porto Novo by a two to three hours pick up ride through horrible terrain, except for some imports mainly self sufficient. Crops include mainly sugar cane, imyam, banana and mango. Otherwise there is only fishing which is done almost exclusively by hand with fishing line, no nets.
