Photographer's Note

This is another one from our trip to Chile last November.
As others have already uploaded great pictures of the more typical chilean spots, I've chosen to post some not-so-typical views of Chile.

This one shows a detail of the cemetery of Punta Arenas.
This picture fascinates me because of the combination of all the white stones and crosses in the background with the dark and coloured stones, crosses and the blue sculpture in front, all of that against the deep blue of the sky.

The cemetary itself is very beautiful. There are a lot of different gravestones there as well as large monuments from the big families of this area or monuments for the immigrants from various countries (like italy or croatia) but also very small hedged graves.
