[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Inaugurated in 18 of March of 1989, in the quarter of the Barra Funda, in the city of São Paulo, the Memorial of Latin America was created to spread out the Latin American manifestations of creativity and to know, always with the objective to interact cultural relations, politics, economic and social.

In an area with 84.480 m², the architect Oscar Niemeyer (100!), projected the space in top of the cultural project developed by Brazilian sociologist Darcy Ribeiro, who always defended the integration of Latin America. At the Civic Square, an open space, we find one of the biggest symbols of the Memorial, the sculpture "the Great Hand", that symbolizes the blood spilled for the Latin American peoples in the fight for the freedom. Behind, the "Salão de Atos" building.

Olá Carmen,
Maravilhosa apresentação do tema. Vê-se logo que buscou o melhor ângulo e luz para apresentar uma visão diferente do lugar. Sua abordagem gráfica foi uma escolha natural e bem apropriada para comprimir os planos da escultura e da arquitetura com o máximo de simbolismo e tensão pictórica. Adorei o jogo de positivo e negativo, que sugere que a silhueta da mão irrompe do chão e também equilibra bem a região de sombra absoluta na construção. As cores são o elemento de realce da foto, com as complementares azul e laranja primorosamente capturadas.
Está uma foto profissional. O único reparo que faria é um tilt anti-horário para deixar o teto da construção paralelo ao quadro. Com isso, a linha de baixo teria de ser ajustada no photoshop para permanecer paralela, mas isso não seria problema porque é preto absoluto.

Great geometrical shapes all around, it's a very interesting theme not so common to see. Love the simple colors, maybe a different color of the sky would suit better, in terms of matching colors, but that;s our sky, blue in day and black in the night:) Good job.

Como sempre um ótimo POV, com excelente cores e iluminação e ainda, uma nota também muito elaborada.
Concordo com o Victor que diz sobre a mão emergindo do chão. É como se ela fosse "apanhar" a construção ao fundo. Bem sugestivo.

thank you for your visit for it allowed me to discover your wonderful gallery of brasilian impressions. definitely worth revisiting. you seem to have a very personal perspective on your country.

i will start with this one: a simple but effective composition with nicely balanced dark/lit areas and colors. good choice of light for this scene too.
