Photographer’s Note
This was the first dam to generate electric power for the region. It was constructed in the beginning of the last century and deactivated in the decade of 1960. I will try to know the details of its construction.

C'était le premier barrage pour développer l'énergie électrique pour la région. Elle a été construite dans le début du dernier
siècle et mise hors tension dans la décennie de 1960. J'essayerai de connaître les détails de sa construction.

Hier kann man der erste Damm, der elektrischer Leistung für die Region erzeugte, sehen. Er wurde am Anfang des letzten Jahrhunderts gebaut und deaktiviert in der Dekade von 1960. Ich werde es versuchen, die Details seines Aufbaus zu kennen.

I like the way the colours are desaurated, it gives a stark and desolate feeling to the image with a bit more impact than going all the way and turning it monochrome, the steps are an interesting point, are they used as such?

Your desaturation works very well. My suggestion would be to cut a bit more at the bottom to remove a bit of empty space and that bit of too dark green patch of grass at the bottom right, it grab to much attention.
I tried a saturated version and it look pretty nice too except the little tree in the foreground becomes a bit too dominant :(
