Photographer's Note

After checking my own gallery I found this photo and realized that the HDR was terribly done...or maybe that process was not the best choice for the ocasion. I decided to re-work on that, at this time using the advantage of the RAW file. Basically I processed three different TIFF from the original image. One for the sky, the other for the rocks and the last for the pathway and grass, then I manually merged them in Photoshop. I don't know if this is the best I could do but it's definitely much better than the original post :))

Just for a reference, I posted the original image (as it was shot) in the WS.

Here is the original note:

Another shot from Vila Velha State Park, Parane State, Brazil.

I was not sure about posting this picture in color or b&w mode. In b&w the picture looks more emphatic but it looses some reference for who doesn't know the place (my opinion). I have posted a workshop as the b&w version. I would appreciate your comments about your tastes and which one you prefer.

3 exposures were merged (0, +1, +2) using hdr process.

Thank you for visitng!
