"Tell me where can I go
there's no place left for me
where to go where to go
every door is closed for me
to the left to the right
is the same in every land
tell me where can I go
and it's me who should know
would you please understand
Now I know where to go
where my folks proudly stand
let me go let me go
in that lovely promise land
no more left no more right
lift your hand and see the light
I'm proud can't you see
for at least I'm free
no more wonder for me"

this song performed by Itzhak Perlman’s Violin

I think the title fits to the situation in 1945: destruction, death, nothing left....

I decided to post this scene because it reminds me somehow that bitter dramatic ending:

a deserted rail leading to nowhere....and ruins at the horizon

Shot taken in Colchani, South Bolivia

PS: what the hell has Bolivia to do with Shoah?? maybe nothing...or maybe "it's a place to go" since I met many young Israeli tourists over there.....
