Photographer's Note

It is raining here and we're expecting buckets over the next few days. All the local fires are under control and with luck this rain will finally extinguish the last flames. Nobody is worried about the threat of floods.
These cockatoos (with the yellow crest) and corellas (with the pick blush on their cheeks) have been sitting quietly in trees all day near our house fluffed up for warmth. There are hundreds of them.
Taken hand held on maximum zoom on my 150-500 lens.
