Photographer's Note

Everything seemed to fall into place for me here. The desert light, the tree, the lack of cars and people and the color and weather. Another shot of Kata Tjuta ('many heads' in local dialect), originally called 'The Olgas' after Queen Olga of Württemberg in Germany who was the daughter of Nicholas I in Russia (1796 ad -1855 ad). Taken early morning about 9:45 am using Fuji film ISO 100.

"The highest peak is Mount Olga, which is 1,066 m (3,497 ft) above sea level, or approximately 546 m (1,791 ft) above the surrounding plain (198 m (650 ft) higher than Uluru)."
