Photographer's Note

We set out early on a cruise down the Pieman River from Corinna in an isolated corner of Tasmania. The boat was made from huon pine, regarded as the 2nd oldest tree in the world (they are no longer allowed to be cut down because it takes hundreds of years for them to grow large).
There was still a little mist about but it was dead still providing perfect reflections.
If you look closely (preferably on the high definition version) you'll notice that the vegetation on the right is different to on the left. On the right (northern side) is rain forest whilst on the left (southern side) is eucalypt forest because that side in the southern hemisphere gets more sun.
