Photographer's Note

This is part of the historic Campbell's Stores at The Rocks in Sydney. They were built about 150 years ago and have an important place in Australian maritime history. These stores were of course once used for dockside storage but now house a number of restaurants and wedding venues. They are built of solid sandstone and still have solid wood framework inside them. And the sandstone turns a beautiful colour at dawn, as you can see.

The Rocks is one of Sydney's most historical areas. It also has numerous quaint little pubs and restaurants. The last time I was in The Rocks at Dawn was many years ago after a heavy night out on the town. And I certainly wasn't looking at the view and not in a fit state to hold a camera. How times change.
